My belief is that EVERY MOMENT IN LIFE POSSESSES A POTENTIAL TALE. A freelance writer and photographer I began storytelling before I was able to spell. At the age of twelve my explanation of what the American flag means to me won first place in the Brainerd VFW POST 1647's Loyalty Day essay contest. By age sixteen, I was co-editor of my high school newspaper also attending Central Lakes College where I earned my photography degree. I studied public relations, journalism, and creative writing at St. Cloud State, graduating in 2001. My adventurous spirit and outgoing personality have taken me from Anchorage, Alaska where I worked to promote the Special Olympic World Winter Games, to Uganda and Kaua'i working with Habitat for Humanity, across my state to meet Minnesotans who make a difference. Residing in Minnesota with my husband and our two children, I'm ready to assist in telling your tale.
